Bio / Resumé
Måns Månsson is a director and cinematographer. Born in Stockholm and after studies at Royal institute of art, Måns started directing.
After short films Clyde (2001) and Stockholm street (2003) Måns directed two cinema- verité films, Kitchen (2005) and H:R Landshovding (2008) for which he both
received Guldbagge nominations for best documentary. Måns debuted as feature film director with Hassel- Privatspanarna (2012). Since then Måns has alternately
worked on documentaries, like Strandad i Kanton and The Real Estate, premiere fall 2017 aswell as been recognized for his amazing cinematography in films like Avalon
(2011) and Flugparken (2014) and now latest Jimmie by director Jens Ganslandt. In 2016 Måns adapted the novel Yarden into a feature film and the movie got not less than
4 Guldbagge nominations and three wins.
Future looks bright and many interesting narratives are in the making.
