Bio / Resumé
Martin Landquist is a Stockholm based music producer and composer with a variety of projects in his inventory. During the early years of his career Landquist established himself as a guitarist and singer but through his four-year sound engineer studies in London he developed a love for making electronic music. After returning to Sweden Landquist released his debut album “Nåid” (1995) which was one of the first electronic dance-music albums released under a major label. The critically acclaimed record acted a catalyst for collaborations with artists such as A-ha, The Cardigans, Kent and Titiyo.
Landquist later teamed up with director Adam Berg, a partnership that involved writing and composing music for numerous commercials. The high pace and high quality demands of working with a recognized director was the perfect milieu for honing Lindquist’s skills and the transition from commercial to shorts to documentaries and full-length motion pictures was a natural progression. He has composed for Jonas Odell´s internationally award winning shorts Lögner (2008) and Tussilago (2010). His first motion picture Tommy by Tarik Saleh premiered in 2014.
